FAQs

How do I sign up?

Just visit this page and click on the membership you’re interested in. If you are new to CrossFit you must go through our on-ramp program before joining our group CrossFit classes.

Do I need to get in shape before I start?

Absolutely not! CrossFit is easily scaleable to all levels. We have advanced athletes and novices in the same class, doing the same workout, sometimes just a modified or scaled version. We are here to help scale to your fitness level.

Will I get “bulky”?

Getting “bulky” is hard to do! People spend HOURS in gyms trying to build significant amounts of muscle. Putting the right amount of muscle on your body is a great way to get toned, lean out, and look good. You’ll even burn more calories when you’re not working out. Getting “bulky” is extremely hard work and also requires significantly increasing your caloric intake. High reps at low weight will actually bulk you up more than low reps at high weight.  CrossFit is an extremely effective way to tone up and slim down. Check out this article from the New York Times to learn a little more about this common misconception.

I’m not sure if I want to do CrossFit. Can I just drop in to try out a class?

We do not allow drop-ins to our group classes unless you are an experienced CrossFitter. Our classes often involve skills and technical lifts that need to be learned before hopping right in. Please sign up for a free consultation by clicking here and we’ll set up a time to show you around and answer any questions you have.

Is there parking?

Yes! We are very fortunate to have our own lot. Just enter off of Jackson Street. There is also ample street parking that is super easy in the mornings, daytime and weekends but can get challenging after 6pm.

Can I park my bike?

Yes! There is a safe place to lock your bike right out front.

Are there showers?

Unfortunately we do not have showers

What is your drop in policy?
